Renewable Energy Program 2002 Biennial Report

Abstract:
The California Energy Commission (Energy Commission) is pleased to submit its2002 Renewable Energy Program Biennial Report, covering the Renewable Energy Programover the four years of its implementation (January 1, 1998, through March 31, 2002), inaccordance with Senate Bill 90 (SB 90).1Senate Bill 90 requires the Energy Commission to submit a biennial report on the RenewableEnergy Program to the Legislature on or before May 31, 2000, and on or before May 31 of everysecond year thereafter “regarding the results of the mechanisms funded pursuant to this section.”The reports shall include “a description of the allocation of funds among existing, new andemerging technologies; the allocation of funds among programs, including consumer-sideincentives; and the need for reallocation of money among those technologies.” The report shallalso address any reallocation of funds among existing, new, and emerging technologies andconsumer-side programs.
