Publication No. CEC 100-2008-010-CMF
Docket No. 09-IEP-1B

The Forms and Instructions for Submitting Electricity Resource Plans, prepared in support of the 2009 Integrated Energy Policy Report, ask load-serving entities in California to submit plans showing how demand for energy and annual peak load will be met by specific supply resources. The forms and instructions were presented by Energy Commission staff at a publicly noticed workshop on November 13, 2008. Public comments on these forms and instructions were solicited and received through November 19, 2008.

The Energy Commission's Integrated Energy Policy Report Committee revised the draft staff report, incorporating public comments, and published the forms and instructions as a Committee Final Report on December 8, 2008. At the Energy Commission's business meeting held December 17, 2008, the full Commission adopted the Forms and Instructions for Submitting Electricity Resource Plans. Utilities and other load-serving entities in California have until February 13, 2009 to submit the completed forms.

The forms and instruction booklet and an MS-Excel version of the forms are available from the Energy Commission's website at www.energy.ca.gov/2009_energypolicy/datacollection/. A print copy is also available by sending a request to:
