Notice of adoption delay

for the Amendments to the Appliance Efficiency Regulations The Notice of Proposed Action (NOPA) for the current Appliance Efficiency Regulations Rulemaking, Docket 05-AAER-1, noticed that the Proposed Amendments to the Appliance Efficiency Regulations could be adopted at the August 10, 2005 Business Meeting.

Because the Efficiency Committee has determined the need to issue changes to the 45-Day Language (in the form of 15-Day Language), the Commission will not consider adopting the Proposed Amendments at the August 10, 2005 Business Meeting. The Efficiency Committee intends to continue the proceeding, postponing adoption to a future noticed Business Meeting.
