Appliance Efficiency Enforcement Rulemaking

The California Energy Commission proposes to amend its Appliance Efficiency Regulations in Section 1601 - 1608 of Title 20 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR). The purpose of this rulemaking is to implement the Energy Commission-specific provisions of SB 454 (Pavley, Chapter 591, Statutes of 2011), which will allow the Energy Commission to assess civil penalties and fines for violations of California's Appliance Efficiency Regulations.
