CBECC OVERVIEW TRAINING FOR ENERGY STANDARDS COMPLIANCE

The 2013 Building Energy Efficiency Standards took effect on July 1, 2014. Private vendor, as well as public domain software, is available for Energy Standards compliance. To ensure that design and building professions are familiar with at least one of the approved computer programs, the Energy Commission is hosting two webinars: August 29th (for residential) and September 4th (for nonresidential) covering the California Building Energy Code Compliance (CBECC) software. Each webinar will feature:

- Updates to the latest version of the compliance software
- An overview of the software for documenting compliance when using the performance approach
- Live demonstrations of the software, including time-saving tips

These webinars are intended to assist California building design, construction, and regulatory professionals make the transition to the 2013 Building Energy Efficiency Standards.
