Lead Commissioner Workshop on Strategic Transmission Investment Planning: Interactive Data Platforms to Support Collaborative Planning and Advanced Technologies
As part of the 2017 Integrated Energy Policy Report (2017 IEPR), the California Energy Commission’s IEPR Lead Commissioner and the Siting Lead Commissioner will conduct a workshop focused on applying environmental data and planning approaches and optimizing use of existing transmission system rights-of-way to help meet California’s climate goals.
Chair Robert B. Weisenmiller is the IEPR Lead Commissioner, and Commissioner Karen Douglas is the Siting Lead Commissioner. Other Commissioners at the Energy Commission and the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) may also attend and participate in the workshop. A quorum of Commissioners from the Energy Commission and/or the CPUC may be in attendance, but no votes will be taken.
