Building Security

Please note that all visitors entering the building (except those attending meetings in Hearing Room A and B) are required to sign in and receive a visitor pass from security personnel. Visitors should be prepared to show identification such as a driver's license or passport. Security personnel will notify appropriate Commission staff when visitors arrive, and visitors must be escorted by staff to and from their destination within the building. Please allow sufficient time to complete this process prior to your appointment or meeting.

Persons attending public meetings in Hearing Rooms A and B will be directed to tables with sign-in sheets and special visitor tags. Meeting attendees must remain in the public areas of the building. Restrooms are available on the first floor, and a coffee and food shop is located on the second floor. Please don't hesitate to ask security personnel or other staff for directions or other assistance.

Parking is available at meters on surrounding streets for 25-cents for 12 minutes, with a two-hour maximum. You must move to another spot (not in the same block) at the end of two hours. The city strictly enforces the two hour limit using automated GPS systems and license plate photos.

There are a limited number of 10-hour meters located along the park, along Ninth Street, and along R and S Streets; with parking at 50-cents per hour. Watch for restricted parking during specified days and between 4 and 6 p.m.

A state-owned public parking garage is located on 10th Street between "O" and "P" streets (entrance on 10th), though it usually fills up early in the day. Another garage is located four blocks away at "10th" and "L" streets, with the entrance on "10th Street."

There is a private, public parking lot next to the Fox & Goose Restaurant at 10th and R Streets.
