The Fermi Award is a Presidential award that honors scientists of international stature for lifetime exceptional achievement in the development, use, or production of energy. Secretary of Energy Samuel W. Bodman presented the 2005 Enrico Fermi Award to Arthur H. Rosenfeld at a ceremony attended by about 200 guests at the National Academy of Sciences Building on June 21, 2006.
