Purpose: The purpose of this solicitation is to select the Applicants best qualified to carry out climate change-related research. Each of the six research topics covered in this solicitation represents a major variable in the overall picture of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and climate change in a California context. Research funded by this solicitation will contribute toward a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between GHG emissions factors and climate change and how best to adapt to and/or mitigate its negative impacts.
