    Three 200-kW natural gas-fired IC engines with heat recovery

    Overview

    The Elihu Harris Building (23 stories, 742,000 square feet) in Oakland has three 200-kW natural gas fueled internal combustion engines, installed on the roof. The output is 2 million kWh of electricity and the recovery of 3 million Btu’s per hour for the building’s heating and domestic hot water systems.
