Biofuels Projects
Biofuels are derived from a wide range of waste-based materials such as animal manure, food wastes, agricultural and forest wastes, municipal solid waste and purpose grown crops consisting of algae, switchgrass, corn, soy, palm oil, sugar beets. There is funding allocated in the 2011-12 Investment Plan for advanced cellulosic ethanol production plants and E-85 fueling stations.
