Day 2: Lead Commissioner Hearings for the 2025 Building Energy Efficiency Standards

The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host three hearings led by the CEC’s lead commissioner for energy efficiency, Commissioner J. Andrew McAllister. The April 16 and 18 hearings will be held in person in the Media Press Room of the California Natural Resources Agency Headquarters Building along with remote access via Zoom. The April 17 hearing will be remote access only via Zoom. The purpose of these hearings is to receive input on proposed revisions to the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 24, Parts 1 and 6 (also known as the Energy Code).

The public can participate in the hearings in person on April 16 and April 18, or remotely for any of the 3 days, consistent with the attendance instructions below. The CEC aims to begin promptly at the start time posted, and the end time is an estimate based on the proposed agenda. The hearings may end sooner or later than the posted end time.
