We cordially invite you to register for the inaugural Stanford-CEC Energy Innovation Summit—part of a two-day Government Energy Summit at Stanford.

Co-hosted by Stanford’s Precourt Institute for Energy and the California Energy Commission (CEC), the Stanford-CEC Energy Innovation Summit takes place January 29, 2024, at the Arrillaga Alumni Center on Stanford’s campus. Over 300 thought leaders and industry partners will join us for a day-long program to address challenges and opportunities in the state’s path to decarbonization. The summit will emphasize the importance of cooperation between academia and government in driving innovation in energy policy and planning.

The summit’s program will address pathways to net zero with a focus on electrification and reliability; energy systems for equitable transition; sustainable transportation, buildings, industrial decarbonization and supply chain manufacturing; and innovation through data. More information about the Stanford-CEC Energy Innovation Summit—including an updated agenda—can be found on the event website. Attending will provide opportunities to:

  • Engage with over 300 peers in industry and energy policy.
  • Learn about the latest academia and government collaborative energy innovation efforts.
  • Hear from state and federal leaders who are advancing pathways in energy technology and policy.
  • Gain insights into rapidly evolving sectors of the global energy ecosystem.
  • Network with policy makers, industry leaders, and technology experts.
