CALIFORNIA GEOTHERMAL SUMMIT
Note: Audio from this workshop will be broadcast over the Internet. Mark your calendars for May 20th. Join us in Sacramento for the California Geothermal Summit, to help set the stage for geothermal development under the California's Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS) and to establish the California Geothermal Collaborative. As a participant you can help decide what pathways California will follow in developing the state's geothermal resources. The California Geothermal Collaborative will be a group of industry professionals and stakeholders working together to address issues, barriers and challenges to geothermal development in California and to develop strategies for growing the industry and number of projects in the state. This event will bring together key participants and stakeholders in the California geothermal industry to explore issues, barriers and opportunities for geothermal resource development in the state. By attending this event you will hear first hand about the geothermal resource potential in California, Federal and State initiatives and policies for supporting geothermal projects, and how you can get involved in the formation of the California Geothermal Collaborative.
