Green Action Team
Energy Efficiency Committee Meeting


The Green Action Team's Energy Efficiency Committee, co-chaired by Business, Transportation and Housing Secretary Sunne McPeak and Energy Commission Vice Chair Jackalyne Pfannenstiel will meet on December 8, 2005, at 10 a.m. This is a joint meeting with the Real Estate Industry Leadership Council appointed by the Governor to advise the Green Action Team on achieving the Green Building Executive Order as it pertains to commercial buildings.

Agenda

1. Information and Outreach - The Green Building Action Plan calls for a campaign of education and awareness targeted to building owners and senior decision-makers.

2. "Digging Deeper" - The Green Building Action Plan calls for ambitious goals and for more effective programs that "dig deeper" into Energy Efficiency potential.

3. Priority Work Areas for Committee - Review feedback from stakeholders on which work areas are the highest priorities for this committee. Develop specific work agenda and schedule for this Committee.

4. Training and Possible Certification of Building Operators
