Nuclear Energy in the World
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency, there are 443 nuclear power plants in operation in 2006, with a total net installed capacity of 369.56 gigawatts [GW(e)]. Additionally, another 25 nuclear power plants are under construction around the world.
