BLOCK GRANT and SEP UPDATES
REMINDER - EECBG Assistance Workshop - TOMORROW
October 22, 2009, Workshop. To assist the applicants with their Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) application, a workshop is scheduled October 22, 2009 at the Energy Commission, starting at 9 a.m. Details about how you can participate through the Internet by WebEx can be found in the notice online at: www.energy.ca.gov/stimulus/documents/.
REGIONAL CLINICS: Oct 26 - Nov 5
Call now for your individual appointments. Regional clinics for an hour of one-on-one Energy Commission staff assistance are available for eligible applicants on a first-come, first served basis. Appointments are scheduled every hour on the hour starting at 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the following cities and dates:
- October 26 - Gustine - Al Gorman Community Center - 745 Linden Avenue
- October 28 - Eureka - Redwood Coast Energy Resource Center - 517 5th street
- October 30 - Sacramento - 1516 Ninth Street - Hearing Room B
- November 2 - Anderson - Community Center, Rm 100 - 1887 Howard
- November 4 and 5 - Hermosa Beach - Council Chambers, City Hall - 1315 Valley Drive
- November 5 - El Centro - Conference Room C & D - 940 Main Street

Small Cities and Counties - Apply for your EECBG
Applications for block grants are available on-line at the Energy Commission's webpage at: www.energy.ca.gov/recovery/blockgrant.html. Eligible small cities and counties have until the first week of January 2010 to apply for their ARRA funds.
SEP SOLICITATIONS ON LINE
Up to $95 million in ARRA funds are being offered with three State Energy Program competitive solicitations. Local jurisdictions, non-profits or private organizations are encouraged to submit their proposals for the Municipal Financing Program ("AB 811-type programs"), the California Comprehensive Residential Building Retrofit Program, and the Municipal and Commercial Building Targeted Measure Retrofit Program. Proposals are due to the Energy Commission by November 30, 2009. For the Solicitations go to: www.energy.ca.gov/recovery/sep.html
