Moore to the State Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission (Energy Commission). Moore, 48, of Albion, has been a self-employed consulting economist since 1993. He also recently served on the State Board of Landscape Architects from 1993 to 1994. Previously, he was a chief economist for the Landmark Land Co. (1989-91). He was also deputy director of local government for the Governor's Office of Planning and Research (9185-91) and was elected supervisor for the County of Monterey and server from 1976 to 1985. He served on the Seismic Safety Commission from 1978 to 1985. Moore, a Republican, received his bachelor of science degree in geology and natural resources from California State University, Humboldt in 1972. He received his master's degree in land economics from the Ecology Institute at the University of California, Davis in 1974. He is currently a candidate for a Ph.D. In land economics at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Moore is a member of the Atlantic Economic Society and the Big Sur Foundation. He is also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association (AOPA). He will receive a salary of $88,062 reflecting a 13% reduction as directed by the Governor.
