A public workshop will be held to discuss air quality issues associated with Calpine's proposed 500 megawatt Sutter Power Plant.
The workshop will take place:
Tuesday, September 15, 1998
9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Veterans Memorial Community Building
1425 Circle Drive
Yuba City, California
The location of the workshop is wheelchair accessible.
Calpine is proposing to build the natural gas-fired plant adjacent to its Greenleaf Unit No. 1 facility on South Township Road near Yuba City.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions during the workshop. Those who wish further information about how to participate should contact Roberta Mendonca, the Commission's Public Adviser, at (916) 654-4489 or toll free in California at (800) 822-6228.
