Oakland Energy Workshop to Provide the "Bottom Line"
on Manufacturing Efficiency

A one-day workshop in Oakland will bring together business leaders, manufacturers, financiers and technical experts to share experiences and "make deals." Energy efficiency financing options will be presented by both the private and public sectors.

Hosted by the California Energy Commission and the U. S. Department of Energy's Office of Industrial Technologies, the event will be held Monday, June 28, 1999, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Oakland Airport Hilton.

Two morning panels, Technology that Pays for Itself and Financing the Deal, feature manufacturers and financiers who will explore in detail their experience and strategies for implementing efficiency and the resulting benefits. The afternoon will afford participants the opportunity to attend one or all of the six break-out sessions: Finding Technical Resources that Meet Your Needs, Options for Financing Efficiency Gains out of Energy Savings, Private Financial Opportunities, State and Federal Resources, Achieving Environmental Compliance and Roadmap to Utility Restructuring.

All participants will receive a Financing Technology Toolbook. Exhibitors will provide additional tools and information relating to technology assistance and resources; private, state and federal programs; and financial resources.

The cost of the workshop, including lunch, is only $45. Register by sending a check to CK & Associates, 345 Colusa Avenue, Kensington, CA 94707. For further information on line, visit the Web Site at:
