If your publication, radio or television station offers a calendar of community events, you may wish to include news of the following meetings.
The California Energy Commission will conduct an additional evidentiary hearing regarding the High Desert Power Project, Limited Liability Company's proposed 680-to-720-megawatt natural gas-fueled electricity generation power plant. The project would be located in the northeast corner of the Southern California International Airport (formerly George Air Force Base), in the city of Victorville, San Bernardino County.
The evidentiary hearing will be held:
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2000
Beginning at 9:30 a.m.
City of Victorville
Council Chambers

Victorville, California
(Wheelchair accessible)
At this hearing, evidence will be received only of the subjects of:
- Air quality and emission reduction credits
- Biological resource mitigation
- Economic information about dry cooling options
- Site control evidence of legal entitlement to use proposed site
- Water agreements
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment during the hearing.
