The Committee designated to conduct proceedings on the Application for Certification for the proposed Otay Mesa Generating Project will hold a public status conference as follows:

On August 2, 1999, the Otay Mesa Generating Company, Limited Liability Company, filed an Application for Certification seeking approval from the California Energy Commission to construct and operate a 510-megawatt generating project. The project is proposed to be located on an undeveloped 15-acre site in the Otay Mesa region of western San Diego County.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions during the conference.
