NOTICE
At the regularly scheduled March 15, 2000, California Energy Commission Business Meeting, the following items were held over to the March 22, 2000, Business Meeting. They are:
Item #8 UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, FOREIGN AND COMMERCIAL SERVICE. Possible approval of Contract 700-98-016 for $54,091 to provide coordination and in-country logistical support for two energy conferences in China.
Item #10 CABAZON WIND PARTNERS, LLC. Possible approval to add $4.39 million from the New Renewable Resource Account to Cabazon Wind Partners, LLC., pursuant to the New Renewable Resources Account Guidebook.
Item #12 BLYTHE ENERGY PROJECT. Possible approval of the Executive Director's Data Adequacy Recommendation for the Blythe Energy Project Application for Certification, supplemental filing, dated February 18, 2000 (Docket No. 99-AFC-8). If this item is deemed Data Adequate a Committee for the Project will be approved.
Item #18 ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROGRAM. Possible approval to receive $1,043,999 from the Department of Energy for two NICE3 Grants.
- HONEYWELL POWER SYSTEMS. Possible approval of a grant for $499,673 to demonstrate a ceramic wheel in place of metal in a micro-turbine with a cogeneration configuration for maximum efficiency.
- DOUGLAS ENERGY. Possible approval for a grant for $494,326 to demonstrate a three-phase rotary turbine to generate electricity from waste process energy and separate oil, gas and water from a production oil well.
