Energy Commission Schedules Informational Hearing and Site Visit
to Proposed Mountainview Energy Project
Sacramento - On Tuesday, June 13, 2000, members of the public and other interested parties will have an opportunity to learn more about the Mountainview Energy Project, a 1056-megawatt power plant proposed by Mountainview Power Company, LLC.
If approved, the Mountainview Project, a natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant, would be located at an existing 66-megawatt power plant site, on an 16.3-acre parcel at the northeast corner of San Bernardino Avenue and Mountainview, in an unincorporated section of San Bernardino County.

Bus transportation to the site will be provided from the hearing location. Personal cars will not be permitted. Land owners, members of the general public, and governmental agencies are invited to participate in this tour. For information regarding public participation, contact the Commission's Public Adviser, Roberta Mendonca. The Public Adviser will be present at the informational hearing and site visit to explain the Commission's certification process and assist those interested in participating.
