The Committee is holding this public conference to receive comments on the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision for the Pastoria Energy Facility which was released on November 17, 2000.
The project planned by Pastoria Energy Facility, LLC. would be a 750-megawatt, natural gas-fired, electric generating facility located on an undeveloped site on Tejon Ranch, 30 miles south of Bakersfield, and 6.5 miles east of Interstate 5 at the base of the Tehachapi Mountains.
