The California Energy Commission staff has scheduled a workshop to discuss the proposed United Golden Gate Power Project. The workshop will be held as follows:
THURSDAY, JANUARY 18, 2001
1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

South San Francisco, California
This workshop will provide an overview of the staff’s testimony, explain their analysis and any methods/modeling used, and answer questions of clarification. The workshop will also cover the subject areas of air quality and land use. The public and interested agencies are encouraged to participate.
To be owned and operated by El Paso Merchant Energy Company, the United Golden Gate Power Plant Project is a 51-megawatt simple cycle power plant proposed for a site at the San Francisco International Airport in San Mateo County . The plant would operate between the years 2001 and 2003.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions during the workshop.
