This workshop is being held to discuss the applicant's proposals and reach agreement on specific language for conditions of certification to address all parties concerns regarding potential well interface and appropriate mitigation.

The Three Mountain Power, LLC proposes to construct a 500–megawatt, natural gas–fired, combined cycle power plant located in northern Shasta County, approximately one-mile northeast of Burney, and 45 miles east of Redding. Approximately one-third of the site is currently developed and used by Burney Mountain Power, which operates a 10-megawatt biomass-fired power plant.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions during the workshop. Persons requiring information on how to participate in the Energy Commission's review of the proposed project should contact Roberta Mendonca, the Energy Commission's Public Adviser, at (916) 654-4489 or toll free in California at (800) 822-6228, or by e-mail at
