Dear Editor / Publisher:
If your publication, radio or television station offers a calendar of community events, you may want to include news of the following conference.
The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed Mountainview Power Plant Project will hold a Committee conference as follows:
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2001
Beginning at 10 a.m.
Hearing Room A
California Energy Commission
1516 Ninth Street
The conference is being held so that the Committee can receive comments on the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision, which was released on February 9, 2001.
The proposed Mountainview Project is a 1056-megawatt, natural gas–fired, electric generating facility to be located on an existing 16.3-acre power plant site at the northeast corner of San Bernardino Avenue and Mountainview Avenue, in an unincorporated section of San Bernardino County.
Members of the general public and interested parties may participate and offer comments during the conference. Persons requiring information on how to participate should contact the Energy Commission's Public Adviser, Roberta Mendonca, at (916) 654-4489, toll free at (800) 822-6228, or e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
