The Committe overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed Contra Costa Power Project will sponsor a public conference as follows:
THURSDAY, MAY 24, 2001
Beginning at 6 p.m.
Delta Diablo Sanitation District Boardroom
2500 Pittsburg-Antioch Highway
This conference is being held to discuss comments on the Presiding Member's Proposed Decision which was issued on April 30, 2001.
Southern Energy Delta LLC proposes to construct and operate the Contra Costa Power Plant Project, a 530-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combine cycle power plant. The site exists at the Contra Costa Power Plant located 1-mile northeast of the City of Antioch on Wilbur Avenue near State Route 4, State Route 160 and the Antioch Bridge.
Members of the general public and interested parties may participate and offer comments during the conference.
