The Energy Commission's Ocotillo Committee has scheduled a staff workshop to discuss the proposed Ocotillo Energy Project as follows:

The purpose of this workshop is to discuss, in detail, issues raised during the informational hearing held on July 30, 2001.
InterGen North America LP proposes to develop the Ocotillo Energy Project, a 456-megawatt, simple-cycle electric generation facility. The project would be located on 54 acres in the eastern portion of a 160-acre parcel about eight miles northwest of central Palm Springs.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate in the workshop. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
