The staff of the California Energy Commission will hold a data requests and issues resolution workshop on the proposed Rio Linda/Elverta Power Project as follows:

The workshop will discuss topics such as air quality, alternative sites, biological, cultural, and geological resources, hazardous materials, land use, noise, transmission system engineering, visual resources, water and soil resources.
The Rio Linda/Elverta Power Project, proposed by FPL Energy Sacramento Power LLC, is a 560-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle facility. The facility would be located on a 90-acre parcel in the community of Rio Linda, in Sacramento County, approximately 7 miles east of Sacramento International Airport.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate in the workshop. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
