Energy Commission Schedules Informational Hearing
and Site Visit to Proposed Colusa Power Project

Sacramento - On Monday, September 24, members of the public and other interested parties will have an opportunity to learn more about a 500-megawatt power plant proposed by Reliant Energy, LLC.
If approved, the facility would be located within a 200-acre site approximately 14 miles north of the City of Williams. The project would be a natural gas-fired, combined cycle electric generating facility.
What: Informational Hearing and Site Visit
When: Monday, September 24, 2001
Beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Where: Colusa County Fairgrounds
Atwood Hall
1303 Tenth Street
Colusa, California

The informational hearing will be preceded by a site visit during daylight hours. Bus transportation will be provided to the site. Land owners, members of the public, and governmental agencies are invited to participate.
