If your publication, radio or television station offers a calendar of community events, you may want to include news of the following workshop.

Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response and issues resolution workshop to discuss the proposed Tracy Peaker Project as follows:

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2001
Tracy Room
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites

Tracy, California

The workshop will provide an opportunity to discuss the Applicantís data responses and resolve outstanding issues. Discussion topics include air quality, biological and cultural resources, geology and paleontology, hazardous materials, socioeconomics, traffic and transportation, transmission system engineering, soil and water resources, visual resources, and waste management.

The Tracy Peaker Project, proposed by GWF Energy LLC, is a 169-megawatt, natural gas-fired, simple-cycle facility. The project would be would be built on a nine-acre, fenced site located immediately southwest of Tracy and approximately 20 miles southwest of Stocktom in San Joaquin County

Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
