If your publication, radio or television station offers a calendar of community events, you may want to include news of the following site visit and workshop.

Energy Commission staff will conduct an extended site visit and data request and issues workshop to discuss the proposed Roseville Energy Facility as follows:

Extended Site Visit beginning at 10 a.m.
Data Requst and Issues Workshop beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The site visit will cover the accessible linear facilities: the proposed transmission lines, natural gas supply lines, water lines, and the proposed project site. The workshop is being held to discuss data requests from the Energy Commission and Western Area Power Administration related to the Application for Certification process.

The Roseville Energy Facility, proposed by Enron North America Corp., is a 900-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined cycle power plant. The proposed site is adjacent to the city of Roseville's Pleasant Grove Wastewater Treatment Plant and located about five miles northwest of downtown Roseville in Placer County.

Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
