Energy Commission Schedules Informational Hearing and Site Visit
To Proposed Roseville Energy Facility
Sacramento -- On Tuesday, November 27,
members of the public and other interested parties will have
an opportunity to learn more about a 900-megawatt power
plant proposed by Enron North America Corporation.
If approved, the facility would be
constructed on a 22-acre parcel located five miles northwest
of downtown Roseville. The site is also adjacent to the
city of Roseville's Pleasant Grove Wastewater Treatment
Plant. The project would be a natural gas-fired, combined
cycle facility which uses combustion turbine generators.

The informational hearing will begin immediately
following the site visit. Bus transportation will be
provided to the proposed site. Land owners, members of the
public, and governmental agencies are invited to
participate.
