Energy Commission Schedules Informational Hearing and Site Visit
To Proposed Tracy Peaker Power Plant Project

Sacramento -- On Wednesday, November 28, members of the public and other interested parties will have an opportunity to learn more about a 169-megawatt, simple-cycle power plant proposed by GWF Energy LLC.

If approved, the facility would be built on a nine-acre, fenced site located immediately southwest of Tracy and approximately 20 miles southwest of Stockton in San Joaquin County. The project will use two natural gas-fired combustion turbine generators operating in simple-cycle mode.

Bus transportation will be provided to the site. Land owners, members of the general public, and governmental agencies are invited to participate in this tour.
