The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the proposed Russell City Energy Center will hold a hearing as follows:
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2001

The hearing is being held to review milestones in the case schedule and to determine whether the Application for Certification is suitable for the six-month process.
The Russell City Energy Center would be a 600-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle power plant located in the Industrial Corridor of the City of Hayward in Alameda County. The facility would be built on a 14.7-acre site directly south of the Water Pollution Control Facility.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate in the hearing. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
