Energy Commission staff will conduct a staff assessment workshop to discuss the proposed Tracy Peaker Project as follows:
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2002

The workshop will allow staff to receive comments on its technical analysis from the Applicant, members of the public, intervenors in the proceeding, and local, State, and federal agencies. Topics to be discussed include air quality, biology, hazardous materials, noise, public health, and visual resources.
The Tracy Peaker Project, proposed by GWF Energy LLC, is a 169-megawatt, natural gas-fired, simple-cycle facility. The project would be would be built on a nine-acre, fenced site located immediately southwest of Tracy and approximately 20 miles southwest of Stockton in San Joaquin County
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
