The Committee overseeing the Application for Certification for the
proposed Magnolia Power Project will hold a scheduling conference as

The prehearing conference orginally scheduled for this day has been
postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. The scheduling
conference will allow parties to discuss issues related to Applicant's
wastewater discharge plan and the status of its application for a
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. The parties will also
be given an opportunity to identify any other substantive issues that
remain disputed and indicate whether the disputes can be resolved prior
to evidentiary hearings.
Proposed by the Southern California Public Power Authority, the Magnolia
Power Plant would be a 250-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined cycle
power facility located at the existing 23-acre site of the Magnolia
Power Station in the City of Burbank.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate
in the hearing. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to
