Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response and issue resolution workshop to discuss the proposed San Joaquin Valley Energy Center as follows:

The workshop is being held to discuss the Applicant's data responses in noise, hazardous materials, public health, transmission system engineering, visual resources, and air quality.
The San Joaquin Valley Energy Center, proposed by Calpine, would be a 1,060-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined-cycle electric generating facility located on an 85-acre parcel in Fresno County near the Mendota Wildlife Management Area and the Fresno-Clovis Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to comment and ask questions during the workshop.
