workshop.
Energy Commission staff will conduct an issue resolution workshop to
discuss the proposed East Altamont Energy Center as follows:

The purpose of this workshop is for staff to resolve any outstanding
issues in preparation for the Final Staff Assessment/Environmental
Assessment. Topics to be covered may include air quality, biological
resources, hazardous materials, land use, soil and water resources,
traffic and transportation, worker safety, and visual resources.
The East Altamont Energy Center, proposed by East Altamont Energy Center
LLC, would be a 1,100-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined cycle
facility, built on a 174-acre parcel located approximately 1 mile west
of the San Joaquin County line and 1 mile southeast of the Contra Costa
County line.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate
and provide comments. Time will be reserved to allow members of the
public to comment. Those who wish further information about how to
