Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response workshop to discuss the proposed Malburg Generating Station Project as follows:
MONDAY, JULY 1, 2002
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
City Council Chambers
Vernon City Hall
4305 Santa Fe Avenue
The workshop will provide an opportunity for the parties involved to discuss project issues and data responses submitted by the applicant. Topics to be discussed include: cultural resources, geology, socioeconomics, traffic and transportation, transmission system engineering, visual resources, and soil and water.
The Malburg Generating Station is a 134-megawatt, natural-gas fired, combined-cycle power plant that would be located on approximately 3.4 acres of the City of Vernon's existing Station A power generating facility.
Members of the public and interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments. Time will be reserved to allow members of the public to comment.
