news of the following workshop.
The California
Energy Commission Staff will conduct a data request
and issue resolution workshop to discuss the proposed
Blythe Energy Project Phase II as follows:
MONDAY,

The workshop
allows parties involved to discuss project issues
and data requests. Topics to be disucussed include:
air quality, biology, cultural resources, land use,
noise, public health, socioeconomics, soil and water
resources, traffic and transportation, transmission
system engineering, visual resources, and waste.
The Blythe
Energy Project Phase II, proposed by Caithness Blythe
II LLC, is a 520-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined
cycle facility. It would be built within the property
boundaries of the existing project which is located
near Interstate 10 and the Blythe Airport, about 5
miles west of the City of Blythe in Riverside County.
Members
of the public and interested agencies are invited
to participate and provide comments. Those who wish
