Sacramento - On Monday, September
9, members of the public and other interested parties
will have an opportunity to learn more about a 520-megawatt
power plant proposed by Caithness Blythe II, LLC.
The Blythe Energy Project Phase II would be an
addition to the approved Blythe Energy Project and
will be built within the property boundaries of
the existing project. The site is located near Interstate
10 and the Blythe Airport, about 5 miles west of
the City of Blythe in Riverside County.

The informational hearing will be held following the site visit. Bus transportation will be provided from the hearing location to the site. Land owners, members of the public, and governmental agencies are invited to participate.
