The California Energy Commission staff has scheduled a Habitat Enhancement Program workshop to discuss the proposed Morro Bay Power Plant Project. The workshop will be held as follows:

The purpose of the workshop will be for the parties and agencies to discuss, verify and clarify Duke's responses to data requests pertaining to the Habitat Enhancement Program issued by the parties to the case.
Duke Energy is proposing a 1,200-megawatt modernization of the existing 1,030-megawatt
Morro Bay Power Plant. The applicant plans construction of two new 600-megawatt combined cycle units to replace the currently operating generating units. Each new unit will consist of two gas-fired turbines and one steam turbine.
Members of the public are encouraged to participate and will have the opportunity to comment and ask clarifying questions on any of the subjects.
