The California Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response and issues workshop to discuss the proposed Salton Sea project as follows:
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8, 2003

The workshop will provide the staff with the opportunity to discuss the applicant's data responses and resolve any outstanding issues on various topics.
The Salton Sea Unit #6 Project, proposed by CE Obsidian Energy, is a 185-megawatt geothermal power plant. The facility would be built on an 80-acre parcel located six miles northwest of Calipatria, within the unincorporated area of Imperial County.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
