The California Energy Commission Staff will conduct an air quality and visual resources workshop to discuss the proposed Palomar Energy Project as follows:

This workshop will provide Staff with an opportunity to discuss the proposed mitigation in the areas of air quality and visual resources with the applicant prior to the upcoming evidentiary hearings.
The Palomar Energy Project, proposed by Sempra Energy Resources, would be a 546-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined cycle facility located on a 20-acre site within the Escondido Research and Technology Center industrial park.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
