California Energy Commission staff will conduct a data response workshop on the proposed Salton Sea Unit #6 Project as follows:

The workshop will provide the staff an opportunity to discuss any outstanding issues and the applicant's data responses on topics such as air quality, biological resources, cultural resources, hazardous material handling, land use, public health, soil and water resources, traffic and transportation, transmission system engineering, and visual resources.
The Salton Sea Unit #6 Project, proposed by CE Obsidian Energy, is a 185-megawatt geothermal power plant. The facility would be built on an 80-acre parcel located six miles northwest of Calipatria, within the unincorporated area of Imperial County.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
