This workshop will provide the opportunity to discuss the Preliminary Staff Assessment issued April 14, 2003. The discussion will include staff's technical evaluation of the project, additional information from the applicant, and information still needed to complete the Final Staff Assessment
The Salton Sea Unit #6 Project, proposed by CE Obsidian Energy, is a 185-megawatt geothermal power plant. The facility would be built on an 80-acre parcel located six miles northwest of Calipatria, within the unincorporated area of Imperial County.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
