Calpine is seeking approval to build a 1,100 MW, natural-gas fired, combined-cycle generating facility. The $400 - $500 million dollar facility would be located in unincorporated Alameda County, approximately one-mile west of the San Joaquin County line and 1.0 mile southeast of the Contra Costa County line.
Members of the public and other interested agencies are invited to participate and provide comments.
